HP 882C. Lost 2-sided printing with WinXP
I upgraded from Win98SE to WinXP. I find that the driver loaded with WinXP does not allow two sided printing, whereas I could do that with Win98SE. I tried loading the driver which came with the printer - no luck.
I went to the HP site and downloaded the driver - no change I called the HP tech support - he said we do not support older (4years old!!) printers. Its not worth it to us, if we did that then nobody will buy a new printer!!!! The printer is working very well and I hate to throw away a perfectly working printer, except for it losing this double sided feature. Does anybody know of a 3rd party making drivers that the OEM does not support? Thanks for your help Last edited by n2b; 03-26-2006 at 11:39 PM. |
