Cry epson photo 830 print problems

Hi I have had this problem for a while now, it mostly does this and sometimes doesnt. ( but rarely)
When printing it leaves red lines through the photo, thin red lines.
I have used the maintenance head cleaner, nozzle check and used alot of ink in the process.
I have also taken the cartridges out, and then the heads and cleaned them through with a solution, just encase they were blocked, no luck, I feel like throwing it in the bin, but I have bought a load of spare ink cartridges.

Have you any ideas how to stop this, any ideas would be appreciated.
Thanks

Have you resolved this problem? If not, I would suggest you join the Yahoo Epson Printer Group and ask other 830 user for their help http://www.facternet.com/au/share/
The recognised expert on maintenance of Epson printers is Arthur Entlich, and he is a member of the yahoo group. If you printer is out of warranty I suggest that you e-mail Arthur Entlich <e-printerhelp@mvps.org> and ask him for help, he will e-mail you an excellent manual that will almost certainly help. If it is under warranty then call your nearest Epson service agent or the supplier of the printer for advice.

Good luck
