How do I reset my 2610 to accept US Cartridges. The printer was bought in Europe. HP gives me a runaround and I am sick and tired of spending 2.5 hours so far with their useless technical support.

Hp suggest you try this 1st.
A partial reset will return user settings to factory defaults. On some models, language and country/region settings are also reset. Perform a partial reset of the product by following the instructions below. Unplug the power cord from the unit. Press and hold # and 3 while plugging in the power cord. When reset displays, release both buttons.
