photosmart D7460 to a6130n

I have a hp a6130n and a hp photosmart D7460. I have the printer joined with the pc via usb port on the back of the pc. But if you look at the 2 pictures included you will see the plug in the middle of the printer has nothing hooked to it and there is a plug in the other pic that is the back of my tower with nothing hooked to it as well. Is there a cable i can buy to conjoin the printer to the pc via these unused connections, because I dont know what these unused connections are? I just got a external harddrive which plugs into a usb port, and if i can hook the printer, using these connections it would free up a usb port for me. What do you think?

the pics wont upload cause they are attached to another thread i posted in a windows vista support area

Simply get a USB card and install it into a free PCI slot or a self powered USB hub.

Yes Dogg is right, an AC powered usb hub will do the trick.
