OKI C5100 showing communicstion error

Hi Folks
I bought OKI C5100 2nd hand printer. When i first switched it on, it showed error 030 which meant (CU Slot1 DIMM RAM had Error). A day later i took out all the cartridges etc to clean up. When i switched it on after that, it started showing communication error or start up. All of this is not making any sense to me. It seems i can't find any help on this printer.

Please anyone who have any idea how to fix to this printer..... Please help me...

Thanks for this link. I searched every bit of information on this and it has nothing to help me.

It looks like there is not much available on net to fix these printers or i am unable to find it.

Any help is much appreciated.

Aside from general maintainance, as outlined in the link above, major repairs are tyipcally done by repair centers. I don't know that you will find any maint manuals. Maybe someone else has more information. Or you could try contacting Okidata.

This error has to do with the on-board memory on the formatter. thus, the communicatioin error. If there are dimms in either slot, remove, and restart. If persists, replace formatter.
