Help with "userpaper.ppr unable to be accessed"
Morning,
First time here , I am totally lost and can navigate my way around programs but when it comes to hardware or fixing things I'm totally lost - you'll be speaking with someone who can't change a tyre (I'd have a go but.....) so please be patient.I was on my computer using my Canon IP4600 CD/DVD program to print off a cover when a storm broke out and my computer went off then just as quick came back on again - everything was fine except when I tried to go back into my CD/DVD program I got an error message ""the file userpaper.ppr could not be accessed" - I uninstalled the printer and re-installed again but whatever I do I can't use the CD/DVD program on the Canon and can't get rid of the error message - can someone help me please as I've looked everywhere to try and solve this - I can't find any file "userpaper.ppr" . Cheers Aponi |

Re: Help with "userpaper.ppr unable to be accessed"
Did you uninstall the actual printer, the printer software, or both?
Goto Contol Panel / Add and Remove Programs - and uninstall all Canon printer related drivers AND software. Reboot, then reinstall the software and drivers following the manufacturers instructions.

Re: Help with "userpaper.ppr unable to be accessed"
I use Vista so I can't go to Control Panel - add/remove as silly Vista has put things in hiding places!!! I found it though, it's under Programs & Features. I didn't do it this way, I uninstalled through the program as it has an uninstall - but I will try it again the way you suggested
Other than that I'll install Windows 7 which I've been putting off!!! Thank you
