Epson 880 Color Not Printing
My 880 color cartridge is not printing. The black ink is printing normally and sharp. I have utilized the nozzle cleaning and the head cleaning to no avail. At times there are minor red and blue lines but no yellow.
After almost two hours of inspecting, cleaning and reloading drivers I'm still in the same boat, the color is still not printing. The only good thing is at least I reloaded the driver with the status monitor so I can see how much ink is in the cartridges. I suspect that I have clogged heads but do not know how to clean them. Any suggestions or instructions as to how to clean? It looks complicated but I'm willing to give it a try. I'm not ready to buy a new printer just yet! Thank you for taking the time to read my post. Regards, Mike |

Re: Epson 880 Color Not Printing
One such way is to brush the printer heads with Q-tips soaked in water. Sources vary on whether alcohol would be more effective than water, but in the opinion of some printer resources, alcohol can be harmful to printer heads and should thus be avoided.By this way,you can clean your clogged head.
