CANON 3100b - Printing crooked
Hey guys ,
I bought a Canon 3100B low-end printer recently. When I first bought it about two months ago, it was perfect. However, in the last few days, it has decided that it will print a number of pages crooked - probably 10-15 degrees crooked either clockwise or counterclockwise. It's only done a few hundred pages (still on it's original toner). I've checked the paper path, nothing seems to be jammed in there - everything seems to be clean. I'm reluctant to use Canon warranty support - I've had a very bad experience before where I've tried to contact them to get warranty support done and the response after contacting them via email was no response. (the only reason I went Canon again is because in this price range the only other printer I could get was a Samsung, which was more expensive but their supprot I've found to be the same). I'm wondering if anyone else has any suggestions as to how to make sure that the pages are being printed straight. Last edited by dogwomble; 10-24-2009 at 09:14 PM. |

Re: CANON 3100b - Printing crooked
Sounds like a typical paper feed issue. Unless you are printing scanned images, and they are simply scanned slanted.
