Hp lazerjet 1018/windows 7

dOES ANYONEW KNOW WHY I CAN'T SEEM TO GET MY PRINTER TO REGISTER ON MY NEW COMPUTER RUNNING ON WINDOWS 7 AND AM I DOWNLOADING THE SOFTWARE WRONG? tHANK YOU.

Just out of curiosity, where are you getting the drives that you are installing?

According to the HP website, the drivers for this specific printer and Windows 7 will not be available until mid November 2009.

That's pretty well the same link that I provided, but I went one deeper. If you follow the Windows 7 links, regardless of the BIT version you get the same message as I posted above....

HP is committed to providing the best experience for HP products in the Windows 7 operating environment.

Today, a solution for your product is not available in Microsoft’s Windows 7. However, a Plug and Play driver download will be available in the middle of November 2009.

HP aspires to provide the most up-to-date information on HP drivers and software. Please check back for updates.
