Canon Pixma IP4500 - Colour Hues Incorrect
Mac OS 10.5.5
Canon Pixma IP4500 - Latest Canon IP4500 Series Driver 6.9.3 installed. All prinetr driver settings are set at the default ie; i haven't changed them. Using compatiable chipped ink carts, which have worked fine previously. The printer sat idle for a number of weeks until I could get new inks. Since installing the new inks: - Printing a photo on plain A4 white paper a photo has correct colours. - Printing the same photo on matte photo paper the blue prints as lilac. - Printing on a Verbatim DVD top, (matte white inkjet printable), blue (aka as "Blueberry on a Mac), prints as lilac. Other colours look "red shifted" and the final image lacks the crispness it's had previously. I've run on the various nozzle clean and deep clean maintainence routines to no avail. Does anyone have any suggestions as to the problem and resolution? Thanks in advance. |

Re: Canon Pixma IP4500 - Colour Hues Incorrect
I've always simply used the defaults without any issues. However, you can manually adjust the color settings.
