Brother HL-5250DN LED Problem

Can't clear the toner LED on my printer. I have disassembled the unit and cleaned it, replaced the toner with one from another working 5250, put in a new one, and upgraded to the latest firmware. Any suggestions???

It may need to be serviced. Sounds like a failed sensor.

before servicing block the sensor glass on the cartridge with masking tape, if it still cant read it its not a sensor issue its the cartridge.
