printer problem

Hi i've got a hp photosmart c6200 and it is now not coming up at all on the computer but the real problem (and I think the reason for the printer problem) is because when I try and add a new rinter or do anything printer related I come up with a message saying:

cannot %whatever action I am trying to Perform%the local print spooler service is not running please restart the spooler or computer

I tried restarting the computer and it worked for about 2 minuets but then it told me that the print spool service had stopped working

I tried trying to find drivers but the HP webiste doesn't do any hp photosmart c6200 it does:

Goto services, check print spooler is started or not, put it to Automatic
..may be there is a driver conflict..

Do you have any other printers installed in your computer? C6200 is a series number. Please check the MODEL NAME of the printer which is also under the C6200 SERIES FAMILY. You can actually get the model name of the printer in front of your printer.(For example: model name: C6240 is under the C6200 Series model. Re-installing your printer won't fix the problem, (For XP) go to Start>RUN> type "Services.msc" look for Print spooler, and see if that service is set to automatic and click on start at the left pane or if has already started, choose restart.
