Question Lexmark X1240 printer problem

The past couple of days the print quality has been poor: smudged and white lines through the black of the print. I twice cleaned the nozzles as per the Lexmark's icon help section. Now it doesn't print at all--twice a print request came back blank, no print. The print cartridge reads virtually full.

Thanks!
