Canon MX310 issue
Our printer keeps telling us to check black and coloe cartridges. We've changes with two new sets but keep getting the error. Printer has worked correctly until today

If you're getting the error on both cartridges, I'd suspect a hardware issue. Aside from removing power for a short while, and the powering it back on, there isn't much you can do.
You can try contacting Canon about the error ( http://www.usa.canon.com/consumer/co...pportDetailAct ), but unless it's under warranty, it's likely cheaper to replace than have it serviced.
