Usb problem[MOVED]

My HP Photosmart Printer will not install the USB Card reader. In the Device Manager, under disk drives, there is an exclamation mark in yellow at HP Photosmart 7600 USB Device. When I look at the driver for this under properties, it shows no driver installed for this device. When I try to install the device it tells me the driver cannot be installed.

How can I install this driver?

Dell 8300 3Ghz with 4GB RAM
Windows XP Sp3 Home Edition.
640 GB WD HD

The USB card reader is part of the HP Photosmart printer. I can install the printer and make it work. However, I can't install the device drivers for the crd reader disk drive. Every time I turn the computer on, I get a found new hardware and it tries to install the USB disk drive. It always ends up stating the new hardware was not installed properly and may not work correctly. It also states, The specified service does not exist as an installed service. I have had this happen before and I have corrected it by doing a Windows repair. I was hoping to find a way to install everythonjg properly without all the hassle of a Windows repair.

What is the printer model?
Did it come w/ a driver disc?

HP Photosmart 7960. It came with the software disk.
