cannot install printer driver

i have the machine brother dcp115c ive downloaded the drivers exactly for that model from the official site of brother company.

my problem is when i install it somehow it stops and tell me to connect the cable to the machine. turn it on and then the procedure will continue automatically .

i did what ever it sais but i didnt see any procedure t continue by itself

can anyone help me..?

Check printers folder, is it there? If you had on a firewall or antivirus program, some of the driver file may not have downloaded. Try again, with those off.

hey i managed t fix the problem. i went device manager and i saw that the usb port had some problem it had that icon(?) and i fixed it and it recognise my printer and then i tried again the installation and it worked fine :)
