Question HP psc 1610 scanner problem

I have a HP psc1610 all in one.
When I use copy on it, it comes out gray and black lines, even when I use it as a stand alone unit. But I can print ok with the computer.
I have fitted new cartridges.

Re: HP psc 1610

Hi Maserjed, thanks for that but I have tried that, the problem is not with the printer but the scanner. It prints perfectly well. If i scan to copy a document it comes out
blank or should I say gray and black lines. I think the problem is in the scanning head?

Re: HP psc 1610

It may have been a problem with the scanning functionality of your printer since you cannot make a photocopy using the printer (standalone) perfectly. Try reloading the software and downloading the full feature driver of the printer if this can help. Other than that, if it has a problem with the printer mechanically. You need to call for the HP Customer Service if your printer is under warranty and get it replaced.
