HP Photosmart c4280 problems
Okay, I'm not even sure how to describe this "problem" other then the printer won't print. It's done this since it was purchased, and HP won't even talk to me about it unless I pay them. It's plugged it, and works when it wants to basically, nothing changes. When I click print the info is sent to the printer, I get a screen that says it's spooling, then that's it... when I open the printer window it's sitting there, with no status. If I click "use printer online" then the status reads error-printing and nothing more. It also turns it's self off
I'm really at my wit's end with this thing. Help!!

Re: HP Photosmart c4280 problems
May I know what operating system are you using? If XP or Vista, please delete the printer icon in Control Panel/Printers and Faxes/Printer name. Insert the cd software and choose Add A device option. After installing, please go to Start/Run type "services.msc". Look for Print Spooler, highlight it and choose restart. Now you can try to print a document.
