We have a dell laser 100 that is not recognized by a pc. It displays a series of blinking lights not documented in the manual. The sequence: two red then one green repeats 4 times then both red and green go solid then the same sequence repeats. The printer was working earlier in the day, then the pc and printer were moved and reconnected (same pc) then the above problem occurred.
We tried another proven USB cable and we tried connecting to a different pc but the same problem occured so it seems to be a problem with the printer itself. Win Xp Pro sp2 |

Re: Dell laser 1100 lighty sequence undocumented
Hello and Welcome to TSF,
What about when the printer isnt connected to pc by the usb cable? the lights still blinking? Try this: turn off pc, disconnect the usb cable to the pc and turn off printer now power on the printer without having it connected to the pc, is the lights still doing the samething?
