[SOLVED] HP Deskjet 6940 series, permissions and printing problems.

My dad's laptop will not print, the status says offline even after I change it to online...however it is not listed as ready under the control panel. Also, he cannot manage printers because he somehow does not have permission to do so. This is in Vista, I'm more fluent with XP so if none this makes much sense, I'm sorry for that. But any help would be much appreciated.

Check device manager for anny yellow ! marks and post them here.

also which vista is it?

Thanks for the reply. But I've solved the problem. Thanks anyway, these forums have helped me out a lot in the past, and I've learned quite a bit too.
