HP Officejet v40 Scanner Problem

Hi,

I have a HP Officejet v40 all in one printer/scanner/copy/fax. I do not have the original CD with the software on it and have downloaded the drivers from HP. I am not sure what else I need to get going (scan software maybe) and where to find this. When I press the scan option on the printer it says 'Options not set'. Any help would be great. Thanks

Mitch
