paper jam

help needed in correcting paper jam in hp psc 1315 all in one printer. Followed hp directions: opened back & front.No paper evident. Restarted printer. It will copy but not print any items. Status still states "paper Jam"
despite all cleaning. How do I reset the status indicator. Tried turning it off,disconnecting it from the computer & then starting it up. Still does not print. What should I do?

Hello and Welcome to TSF,

1. Turn off the printer.

2. Are you able to open the top of the printer and check the left and right corner where the rollers are to make sure their is not a piece from a
corner of a sheet. A small piece of paper will give paper jam.
