When I first got the printer a month ago and installed the WiFi drivers, this worked just fine. For some odd reason I can no longer print to the fax service from the PC, even though faxing directly from the HP unit works.
This doesn't work on either of my two computers running XP SP3 and Vista SP1. They both seemed to lose the functionality at the same time, which I found to also be odd. It just gives me the error: The fax could not be sent because of a communication error with the fax device. The fax will be moved to the fax log where you can re-send it. The printer works just fine, so basically I am having to print the document I want to fax and feed it through the fax tray, entering the fax number manually. |
