Prints on a slant
My Epson C88+ is printing on a slant. I suspect the tractor mechanism. Is there any way to correct this?

Re: Prints on a slant
Paper feed problems with most printers just come down to either dirty feed rollers or worn rollers. If you want to clean the printer, you need cotton swabs and distilled water. If you unplug the printer and open the cover, you can generally see the feed rollers. Wet a swab with distilled water, squeeze it as dry as possible and use it to clean the rollers. If the swab gets grungy, switch to a clean one. Sometimes, you might find a paper coffee filter torn into strips and moistened helpful for places where the swab doesn't fit.
After the printer has dried for a few minutes, plug it back in and print a blank page or two from your word processor and see if the sheets feed straight. You might have to repeat a time or two to get the rollers thoroughly clean. Most of the time that will fix the problem, but if you've really run large quantities of paper through the printer, the rollers could be worn, and you'd be looking at a replacement printer.
