Problem printing from Excel to HP LaserJet 1600
I have an HP Color Laserjet 1600 printer hooked to a Windows XP workstation and for some reason when I print from Excel it will only print certain cells. Example: I am trying to print a 2009 calendar and I have it divided into months so it will fit on one sheet. I have certain days shaded in gray and towards the end of the year I have days shaded in orange. When I print, all I get are the days shaded in gray (which come out black) and the days shaded in orange (which come out a darker black). There are no grid lines and the other days won't print.
I have played with every setting I can think of in Excel and the printing preferences and can't figure it out. I also uninstalled and reinstalled the print drivers, replaced the black toner cartridge (said it was low), and updated the firmware. I can print a test page fine, and most documents from other applications look ok. I don't believe it is a problem with the file cause I have copied all the data into a new file and resaved and I still have the same problem. This is using Excel 2007. Any ideas would be GREATLY appreciated! Last edited by ThePistonDoctor; 03-04-2009 at 05:44 AM. |
