Xerox Phaser 6180 and MS Word Compatibility

I'm wondering if anyone has had compatibility issues with this printer and MS Word?

It's kind of hit or miss, so to give an exact situation is near impossible. Basically, sometimes the printer will print and other times it will not. Sometimes several page documents will print the first couple pages and stop, sometimes single page documents will print then later that same document will not print.

The one thing I have noticed though is that when it doesn't print it still makes the quick little warm up noise like it's going to print... then nothing; not even flashing lights.

I am assuming it is a printer compatibility issue because seconds later it can be printed on a different printer.

We are working on a small (5 computer) network; all run Windows XP Pro and MS Office 2007 Pro.

Any suggestions or thoughts or anything?
