Roll Eyes Canon i9900 Indicator Lights flashing

Our Canon i9900 has been flashing the indicator lights for some time now and we can usually restart the printer and get it to print. However, that is no longer the case. Here's what happens:

Turn on printer to prepare for printing

Printer flashes the green indicator lights as normal and goes through it's start up process

Print Head carriage moves back and forth as normal and the printer rollers cycle as normal too.

Print Head carriage returns to right side of printer and rollers stop.

Indicator light now flashes one steady green and five quick orange.

I have read the other posts about the Waste Tank counter rest but this was not helpful.

Can someone provide me with the indicator light reference to the problem and is there a simple solution for this?

BTW, there are no messages on the computer to indicate what is going on other than the Windows Print screen that states document failed to print.

We are using Windows XP Pro

Thank you in advance for you guidance and assistance!
