HP C3180/F2280 will not scan or copy
My HP C3180 printer will not scan to printer or copy, producing an error message telling me that "unable to establish two-way communication"
Has anyone received an intelligent reply from HP support to resolve the problem, or explaining why the installation program does not write certain registry entries. The printer has been successfully installed on an ASUS computer running the selfsame Vista Home Premium SP1. The problem only manifested itself after updating from XP to Vista Home Premium. On XP I would simply have tried reinstalling the OS but Vista!!!!! Incidently, my brand new HP F2280 printer produces exactly the same problem, but also installs successfully on the ASUS. They both print successfully. Thanks |
