Canon F50 MFC plus Windows XP SP3
This F50 worked fine for years. After XP SP3, however, I got a dialog box asking me to reinstall the printer.
Unfortunately, the install process dies at the point where the USB cable is plugged in - the two pieces of equipment never see each other. Another resources mentioned the problem, suggesting that the file mptrans.dll be removed. I cannot find that file, cannot get help from Canon, and cannot print. ??? (Thanks!) |
