Brother MFC-240c, is it possible to scan to thumb drive...
...plugged into USB port on printer? The manual doesn't say. If not, what's the USB port there for anyway? I can't find that in the manual either.
It would be great to be able to do that. I've got a desktop and a laptop, both running Vista (desktop is home basic, laptop home premium). I've got the Brother hooked up to the desktop. Is it possible to print from the laptop through my wireless network? I tried with my Minolta laser printer, but it said it could not be done, only if the printer was bluetooth. This one isn't either. But perhaps it is possible? It seems a bad idea to unplug it from the desktop and plug into the laptop every time I want to print.... Opinions on both these issues welcome! |
