Printer Server help (print sharing)
Hello to all,
I am wanting to set up my network to a shared printer. My computers are: Dell Optiplex GX260 desktop XP Pro Gateway MX7120 Laptop (only wireless) Media Center Edition 05 http://support.gateway.com/s//Mobile...008832nv.shtml Home built computer Ubuntu Ultimate 1.8 (soon to be 1.9) http://ultimateedition.info/ultimate-edition-19/ HP C5180 Printer (only wired, usb or ethernet) http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/p...roduct=1153481 I have a 2Wire DSL modem/router 2701 HG http://www.qwest.com/internethelp/mo...n=installation I also have a switch, and another wireless/wired router too, if needed. If it's a possibility to set this printer set up thought the Netgear router so if and when I choose to change my ISP and I won't have to figure/ask for more help.
