[SOLVED] canon pixma mp600 scanner problem

Hi
Im Terry and i am new to this forum.
I have a problem with my scanner.If i press the black/white scanner button
then i do not have a problem scanning black/white image.
If i press the black/white scanner button or the colour scanner button whilst scanning a colour image then i get light and dark banding on the scan.The lines are along the longest length

Is it a lamp problem and if so how much to fix.

Hi

I have been in touch with Canon about this problem and it is sort of sorted.

They have suggested a longer way of scanning through their MP Navigator software.
Doing it this way there is no banding.Obviously something wrong with the QUICK scan button on the printer.Shame.

I have the same problem .The scanner does not work on the printer OR on Navigator 3 on Vista or Windows 7.Is the scanner stuffed?

Hi
Did your printer ever work with the 2 operating systems you mention?
Did it work with another operating system other than these?
Have you updated the drivers?
