HP laserjet 2100 issues.....
My school just purchased one of these machines and it does not print most of the time. An outside tech installed the printer to the Dell laptop but when the bookkeeper tries to print it will not print. I come in and disconnect all cables then reconnect and reboot the computer and then go to the printers control panel and see that the printer is set as the defaulted printer but it is grayed out as if it is off line (there is one other all in one machine installed also) but there are several copies of the driver located in there. Everytime I reboot the computer it makes a copy of the printer driver. Right now there are like 6 copies of the driver. After the rebooting it will print but we shouldn't have to reboot it all of the time.
Any ideas? Running Win 2K Pro on a Dell Latitude. Thanks |
