Re: All lights blinking on printer
You've not provided enough good information. Did you get no information at all? No messages on your computer screen or a screen on the printer?
ALL lights blinking quite often suggests a paper jam or something else prohibiting the smooth operation of the printer such as a print cartridge inserted incorrectly so as to jam or block movement of the cartridge tray. Have no idea why you re-installed printer drivers so quickly as this could easily have made matters worse. First things first is to get those lights to stop blinking. Try to turn the printer off at the power button. This may or may not work and if it doesn't then disconnect the power plug from the back of the printer. After a few seconds plug the printer back in again. If the power light is off, turn the printer on and wait for a few moments. With any luck the printer click and clack for a bit and attempt to release paper that's jammed somewhere inside. If you hear it trying to do that but no errant piece of paper comes out, open up the back of the printer and see if you can find paper stuck in there. |
