HP 1350 - The print cartridge is stalled

I keep getting this message and the print cartridge is off to the side when I open the door - I can't get it to move.

Re: HP 1350 - The print cartridge is stalled

The first thing I'd do is shut down your computer. While it's off turn off your printer at the power button and leave everything off for about two minutes. (You might even unplug it at the wall just to be on the safe side.) During the time both are off, you might also reach inside your printer and try to slide the cartridge carriers left and right to ensure they slide easily and there isn't something blocking their ability to move freely. Also check and make sure EACH of the ink cartridges are installed properly. (Take each one out and re-install it.)

Once all of these simple steps are completed, turn the printer on and then reboot your computer. This process may clear the problem.
