Photosmart D7160
Hello:
I have a scanjet 3670 installed on my computer (HP Pavillion running XP Pro) and it worked perfectly UNTIL I installed the Photosmart D7160 printer. When I try to scan from HP Center or Director I get the message "An error occurred communicating with scanning device". I am sure I have read somewhere there is a patch/repair/solution for this as the scanner and printer software are trying to use different versions of the same imaging program?? Does anyone know if there is actually a solution? I tried to get help from HP but they want to charge me $25 to solve a problem they created. NOT!!! Abhix |
