Canon LPB 3300 problem
Am having major problem with re-installing the printer driver for a newish Canon LPB 3300.
Was working fine but then appeared to lose part of the driver software. Have deleted the software using the Control Panel. There is no trace of any remaining bits of driver software on the sytem. When I attempt to re-install I get an error message 'The Installer is already in use'. The local computer shop has re-installed the Win 2000 operating system, and tries three different new Canon driver disks but nothing will shift that error message - nor will the driver re-install. I have two other identical printers and they run just fine on other computers. (The printer must be disconnected when installing the driver so assume it cannot be a printer or USB cable issue). Would really appreciate help - am 2500 km from nearest major city and Canon agent (the local Canon agent says he does not know what is wrong). I am generally familiar with computers as a user - but have no technical background in this area. Collyn Rivers Broome, W. Australia |

Hello and Welcome to TSF ilyassses,
You need to start your own thread. Also list in your post: the correct Make and Model number of printer?
