[SOLVED] epson stylus cx6600

I have an Epson Stylus CX6600. I can't uninstall the printer software. I've tried the Control Panel, Add/Remove pgms, it says it's uninstalled, but it stays on the list. I had the printer installed before on two computers, but now it won't work on this computer. I've even gone into Safe mode to uninstall it, that doesn't work either. I'm running XP Pro with SP2. Any suggestions?

Just so it's a bit clearer......this is a printer that you no longer wish to use on the computer in question?

When you try uninstalling the software from Add/Remove, what error message do you get?

I'm actually trying to install the printer, but that won't work. That why I tried to uninstall it. I don't get any error message on Add/Remove pgms, it goes through as if it actually worked, says the uninstall was successful, and I click the button to "Finish", and the software is still on the list. When I go to the Device Mgr, on the USB section, there is "USB Printing Support, and it's working. I've also gone to Printer/FAX screen and tried to delete the printer, it says its' deleting, but it never finishes. I have two Epson printers on that screen, one that says "Access Denied", the other says "Deleting".

Would recommend to physically disconnect the printer from the computer. Then go into your Printers list, open each one and delete any pending documents for each. Reboot and see if they are still there or not.

Should be able to reboot again and do the install once again.

When I go to the Printers List, there are two Epsons listed, one says deleting, the other one says access denied and I can't get rid of either one. I've tried disconnecting the printer, restarting the computer, same results. Neither one has any documents waiting.
