AIOC 1290 Problems (would it have been anything else?)

I'm currently using (or more accurately, attempting to use) the above mentioned printer type. The problem is that it, well, can't print anything.

I'd initially been using it with an older computer, and it worked fine then. Ever since I got a new computer (both ran the same OS), however, it's not worked at all (it did for a short while, but stopped all out of the blue). Whenever I attempt to print something I get a message that says 'Communication Not Available' followed by a few mostly useless suggestions on how to fix the problem.

Not sure what to do, I downloaded the drivers for the X1200 printer series - typically that helps, but in this case it didn't as now I can't access the All-In-One-Center that manages various functions related to the printer. Granted, the AIOC wasn't of use in getting anything to work, but that the drivers on Lexmark's site were not only unable to fix my problem but actually broke something doesn't say much about their tech support. (As has the lack of a phone number to call for live support listed on their site... that or I'm simply unobservant.)

I realize this isn't much information, but beyond taking screenshots of the error messages there's not really any more I can give. Sorry about that.

Any suggestions for what to do? Many thanks for any help.
