HP Photosmart 6180

Desktop shortcuts to programs (eg HP Solution Center) give error message "HPQTHB08.exe is changed or missing". I then deleted the entire program using HP install disk, then Iobit Revo Uninstaller, then reloaded HP disc, which stalls at 96% complete. I tried system restore and desktop icons reappeared, but still give same error message. I can print from the computer, and scan/fax/photoprint from the unit itself, but not to or from the computer. Any ideas appreciated.

Try it again.....make sure you UNPLUG the printer from the machine when you're doing all of this until the reinstall tells you plug it in.
