myprinter wont print

hi all, my hp deskjet will not print from my laptop.
it goes through all the motions and noises that it would make as if printing but the paper comes out blank.
my blaptop has vista, ive installed the driver , i think, and its very frustrating, please help me.

It is a ink jet printer, which uses ink catridges.

If so, try starting up the utility software that came with the printer and use the software to clean its head. Perhaps the ink output hole is clogged with dried ink...

Have you stopped using the printer for some time already.

no i e my printer all the time on my home computer .it just doesnt work on my laptop for some reason. its s o annoying . wish i knew how to fix.
