Hello!
I have a Kyocera Mita FS9100. Recently (within the past year) we had a new drum installed - to the tune of almost $2,000. Since then I have not needed to get into the admin page - however the other day I needed to. My admin page - now is requesting a login and password. I don't think I had to access it with a login before. We do not have a regular servicer and are not on a service contract. I contacted Kyocera - and they say I have to get a tech in who will reset the motherboard - but I think this either 'just happened' or they did it when installing the drum. I am really not interested in having to pay them up to $150 for them to visit and fix what they probably broke. Is there a default login and password for this? Thank you for any help you can offer. I am running Windows XP on an emachine |

Re: Kyocera Mita FS9100 - can't get into admin
I don't know if this will work specifically on your printer, but according to this site Kyocera printers come with an admin account U/N = "admin", password blank. Might be worth giving that a go.

Hi!
Thank you for the reply - just tried that and thought that was the case - unfortunately - didn't work. Thanks for the site reference though - will keep that on hand for future issues. Thank you again |
