Printing and Data Execution Prevention

Hi all

Have a laser printer attached to a windows XP computer, which has been working fine. the printer is shared amongst the other computers on the network.

the otherday, it stopped working. when you try to print in any application (word, notepad etc...) data execution prevention (DEP) comes up and the program crashes and wont print. nothing has changed on the network and i can print a test page on both the local machine and the remote machine.

i checked in the DEP settings and it is set to allow the programs to print. i have also uninstalled the printer and reinstalled it.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated, as i have tried all i can think of.

Thanks
Murray

Please post make and model of the printer.

Are you running the most up to date drivers?
