MSword/HP printer problem

Hi All,

I have a HP psc 750 which has been very reliable to date. Now "suddenly", it is messing up when printing from msword 2000 (XP sp2 home ed). Especially multi-page docs, it randomly leaves neat blocks of white space where there should be text. It's not the cartridge as I have replace it twice. I have reinstalled the printer from scratch and updated the driver, no improvement. Most interestingly/frustratingly, it doesn't it seem to do it with any other software eg I turn a msword doc into pdf and print from Adobe Reader without the same problems.

Any suggestions gratefully received.

have you tried to reinstall or repair MSword?

Tried the "detect & repair" function in Word with no luck. Any other suggestions?
