Why would you use the InkJet 1700 driver on the Inkjet 2800 printer when you can download the Inkjet 2800 driver from: http://h20000.www2.hp.com/bizsupport...598&taskId=135 Please explain. - John |

I understand. That HP 1700 driver MIGHT work with the 2800 but you will potentially miss out on features specific to the 2800. You can try it - and if it works - just keep the 1700 driver. If the 50 PCs in question are on a Windows NT/2000/2003 domain, another approach would be to "Push" the printer installation on all PC on your domain.
