EEK! Samsung Multifunction CLX-3160FN not much function

I'm needing some help with my printer at work. It's the Samsung multifunction CLX-3160FN. I just changed all the laser colour and black cartriges and even shook them but the black print is terrible. It comes out a faded grey when printed, but the colours are vibrant and look great. Can anyone help me? Is there a cleaning system for it if that's the problem?
Also: we sent in our old black cartrige to be refilled at some laser store, for cheaper than buying a new one. Can that be the problem?
Thank you!

I think the refill is the problem. Talk to the person that refilled it. Take the cartridge and a print sample and see if they can fix it. If not, you will have to buy a name brand cartridge.
