Hi,
Our printer, HP Offficejet L7780, was working fine until a week ago. I could not reconnected with the printer I reinstalled the software using the CD came with the printer. However I mistook the CD with window Vista's instead of XP. Eventually I reconnected the printer using USB cable and I can print. Since then every time we print the pop-up, insert "HP Product Assistant"CD followed by "Market Research" after cancelling the pop-up, shows up. How do I turn it off? ![]() Last edited by luftip45 : 05-07-2008 at 01:54 PM. |

Re: Vista CD into XP
Terrister, Thank you very much. I did uninstalled the Vista software and reinstalled the XP version. However some reason it doesn't reinstall the XP version. The error message said that new version of software is already installed installation will be terminated. By the way, I uninstalled the Vista version of HP printer using both "Uninstall" in the CD and "Add and Remove" in Control Panel. Still same... I send e-mail to HP however I have not heard from them. Any other idea?
Thanks, |
