Printer going offline

Model : hp business Inkjet 2800
This printer is connected to an external printer server(axis) by a parallel cable.i can ping the print server but in pc it show the printer is offline.
i restarted the printer /p. server 2-3 time still same

can anyone help me?

Do you have a computer you can plug this printer into?

This will tell us if the print server is the problem.
