Brother DCP-340CW

I have this printer installed and working with my wireless network for printing.

However, when I want to scan or copy, I open the 'Control Center' and the software can not find my printer at all. I get the error that the decice cannot be found (cc027).

Where do I begin to get the scanner function working?

Computer is an HP NC6320 notebook running Win XP Pro if that is useful.

There are only two of us in our company and I am needing to scan and send some documents urgently. Many thanks for your help.

How is the printer connected?

Wireless LAN.

Very few of the all in ones will do anything other than print when shared accross the network.

You will have to plug in via usb to scan. You can share the printer so the other computer can print to it.

Any expert users or Brother printer salespeople out there? - Is this a capabilty that my printer does or does not have? I bought it as a wireless printer so am not pleased if scan and copy mode does not work with wirelsss.
