Printer not working

i'm having HP 2420 Laserjet printer in my office. its connected to my Pc through network. the printer is connected to the server. the problem is I'm not able to print anything.

i can add the printer in my printer and faxes. but not able to print.Not even test page. while giving its its asking for printer driver. pls give me a solution

Try putting the printer directly connected to the computer through a USB port. Install the driver at your computer and see if it can print. If it can, then the problem must other than the printer

You said the printer is connected to the server. Have you install the printer driver on the server side there. You will need to install the driver to the computer where the printer is connected

driver is installed in the server. the problm is only with that particular PC only.There are other PC in the network, and i can print from those computers. usually no need to install HP 2420 driver in all the PCs seperately. users can access From the server direcly
